Born to a Japanese father and foreign mother, Alan has three sisters and one brother. He is both a dancer and actor.

In 2009 he passed the audition for EXILE troupe (Gekidan-EXILE), and in 2010 became the member of the theatre company. Then in 2011 he was elected as a candidate for GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE (known as GENERATIONS) which is a “sub-group” dancing and vocal unit.

In 2014 Alan (by HIRO) was appointed leader of GENERATIONS as well as passing the “EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION” and officially become a member of EXILE and performed, as a new member, for the first time in the single “New Horizon”.
