Jun joined the troupe D2 in 2011, the same year he starred in Tenimyu as the character Mukahi Gakuto as a part of Hyotei 2nd. Since then he has gone on to act in various dramas, notably as Tokkyu#1 a.k.a Raito in Super Sentai series Ressha Sentai ToQger (TV Asahi/ 2014). He is credited as the first D2 member to play the Red Super Sentai Hero, and only the second D-BOY member since Suzuki Hiroki (who played GekiRed in Juken Sentai Gekiranger).
