Inspired to enter showbiz because of actor Koike Teppei, Takahashi aimed for success with the 20th JUNON SUPER BOY contest, making the finals. Then in 2008 he joined the troupe D-BOYS. And is the youngest member of the group.

He is best known for his work in both Tenimyu and Tokusatu, winning the chairman role of Echizen Ryoma as part of the 5th generation cast, and as Utahoshi Kengo, fourze technician, in the series Kamen Rider FOURZE.
